Creatine is the building block for phosphocreatine, an energy-carrying molecule. Phosphocreatine serves as an energy reserve that cells use during intense exertion. 95% of phosphocreatine is found in skeletal muscles, where quick energy delivery is most needed. A higher creatine intake leads to higher phosphocreatine levels in muscles.

Creatine is a popular supplement for athletes and useful for anyone who exercises regularly and wants to increase or maintain muscle mass. With a daily intake of 3 grams of creatine, you can increase performance during successive short, high-intensity exercises and stimulate muscle growth. Additionally, regular use of creatine enhances the effects of muscle strength training in people over 55. That’s why creatine supplementation is very popular!

After muscles, the brain contains the second-highest concentration of creatine. This has sparked interest in the effects of creatine supplementation on cognitive performance. Research into the effects on cognitive function and mental health is still ongoing.

The most researched and effective form of supplement is creatine monohydrate. Creatine monohydrate is known for its excellent absorption at doses up to 10 grams. With a serving of 3-5 grams, your intestines will absorb 99% of the creatine.

NoordCode Creatine Pro is a fundamental supplement that supports sports training and helps you get more out of your supplement stack and nutrition. It consists of two ingredients: Creapure® creatine monohydrate and the herbal extract AstraGin®.

Creatine monohydrate is the most studied and effective form of creatine, and Creapure® is the purest version available.

The unique herbal extract AstraGin® has been clinically studied for its effects on nutrient absorption.

Creapure® is the purest (99.9%) creatine monohydrate available. Alzchem Trostberg GmbH produces Creapure® in a specialised facility in Germany. The production is carefully controlled from start to finish, with very strict manufacturing and quality standards. Every batch is tested for by-products such as creatinine, dicyandiamide (DCD), and dihydrotriazine (DHT). Thanks to the sarcosinate and cyanamide production method, DCD is just 10 ppm (parts per million), and DHT is undetectable.

Standard creatine is often made via chemical reactions with hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid. These acids play a role in the traditional production process of creatine monohydrate. Although this method does not leave acid residues in the final product, these chemicals are part of the production.

Creapure® is produced without the use of animal products, making it suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Creapure® is also Halal and Kosher certified.

Generic creatine monohydrate is sourced from China. Due to less rigorous quality control, more by-products are likely present, making it a cheaper option.

AstraGin® is a special extract from the roots of Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng, made by NuLiv Science. Astragalus and Panax notoginseng are herbs traditionally used in Chinese herbal medicine.

AstraGin®has been clinically studied for its effects on nutrient absorption in the intestines.

AstraGin® works best in combination with food and other supplements. For example, AstraGin® helps enhance the absorption of protein powders in your sports supplement stack.

NoordCode Creatine Pro is certified by NZVT, the Dutch Security System for Dietary Supplements in Elite Sports. Every batch is tested to ensure it does not (unintentionally) contain doping substances. Supplements with the NZVT certification are guaranteed free of doping substances, allowing top athletes to use them with confidence.

Additionally, Creapure® is listed on the Cologne List, a German initiative similar to NZVT, which checks every batch for the absence of doping substances.
