Metagenics UltraFlora® Duo is a probiotic food supplement formulated to support digestive health and maintain a balanced gut microbiome. UltraFlora® Duo is designed to help restore and maintain healthy gut flora by supplying carefully selected probiotic strains including Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM®, Lacticaseibacillus paracasei Lpc-37, Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-04, and Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-07®. These strains have been studied for their role in supporting digestive balance and helping to replenish beneficial bacteria in the gut microbiome.
The formula also includes Saccharomyces boulardii, a non-pathogenic probiotic yeast that is naturally resistant to antibiotics. Because it is not destroyed by antibiotic therapy, it can help support intestinal balance and digestive function during and after antibiotic use.
Each capsule provides a combination of approximately 8.5 billion live bacteria and 6 billion Saccharomyces boulardii. The supplement also contains blackberry fruit and leaf extract, traditionally used to support normal bowel function, as well as vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
UltraFlora® Duo uses ProtectAir™ technology, a moisture-control system designed to protect the stability and potency of the probiotic organisms. - The vitamin D3 in this product is from lanolin – a vegetarian source of vitamin D3.
- Not suitable for patients with a central venous catheter, critically ill patients or for patients with weakened immune function (immunocompromised).
Dosage & Storage Information
1-2 capsules daily, or as directed.For children 3 - 12 years 1 capsules a day is recommended.
