Pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P5P) is the active metabolite of pyridoxine and is the predominant form of plasma B6. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system and psychological function. Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
