Melatonin is a hormone naturally synthesised by our body from tryptophan and serotonin, the concentrations of which decrease with age. Melatonin release follows a circadian rhythm: it increases in darkness and decreases in light.
Our liquid melatonin is easy to administer, easy to dose and quickly absorbed, providing 1 mg of melatonin per 9 drops.
HEALTH CLAIMS (EU Regulation 432/2012): Melatonin contributes to the alleviation of subjective feelings of jet lag with a minimum intake of 0,5 mg to be taken close to bedtime on the first day of travel and on the following few days after arrival at the destination; and to the reduction of time taken to fall asleep by consuming 1 mg of melatonin close to bedtime.
