Moss Nutrition Oil of Oregano is a premium quality oregano extract derived from the fresh leaves of Origanum vulgare. Oregano is rich in naturally-occurring phytochemicals (antioxidants, tannins, volatile oils and phenolic compounds) that offer powerful antimicrobial and antifungal properties.

The phenolic monoterpenes carvacrol and thymol (an isomer of carvacrol) are considered the primary biocidal compounds in oregano.
